All Ages Get That Sexual Urge

According to our survey AND the interviews we conducted, high schoolers seem to be the biggest culprits in the sexting phenomenon. 49% of you said kids ages 15-18 engage in sexting the most, 41% of you think its adults 18-21, 14% of you claimed seasoned adults ages 21-30 engage in it most and 19% said the act of sexting is engaged in equally among the ages. So many ways, so many choices

Sexting can encompass a few different forms of sexually explicit messaging. The numbers from our survey show that 68.7% of you consider texting explicit words is sexting, 59.6% of you think inappropriate picture messaging is sexting, 16.2 of you consider talking on the phone sexually is sexting and 36.4 of you chose all of the above as forms of sexting! Sexting: Do you or don’t you?

With the click of a button, the three of us were able to reach 400 people. We created a Facebook event and invited around 400 of our friends to take a survey. The event was called “SEXTING SURVEY, please help us!!!!” and soon enough 75 people said they were attending. Within two hours, 30 people had already taken the survey. A week later, people were still taking the survey and we ended with 116 responses. The basic (free) account on Survey Monkey only allows you to view the first 100 responses before asking if you want to upgrade with the message, “WOW, YOU HAVE A POPULAR SURVEY!”
